They provide assistance when needed and are knowledgeable about the products, which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. I purchased a reed diffuser, and while I was happy with the fragrance, I did encounter an issue—the cap was extremely tight and difficult to remove. It took quite a bit of effort, which might be frustrating for some customers. This is something the retailer should take note of, as it could improve the overall user experience. Despite this small drawback, I’m quite pleased with my purchase. The reed diffuser lasts between 1 to 2 months, depending on the number of sticks used, making it a good value-for-money option for those looking to keep their home smelling fresh. Went to Akemi to shop for a Mother’s Day gift and ended up getting a few room fresheners — absolutely love their selection of scents! There was a promo going on (2nd item at 30% off), which made it an even better deal. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to — they really made the whole shopping experience enjoyable. I do miss the gift box option where we could choose different items to fit into a box. That was such a great gifting idea — hope it makes a comeback soon! Haha. Overall, a lovely store with great products and wonderful service. Highly recommended!

I bought alot of bedsheets and 2 pillows along with a couple of heavy items. Just when I was agonising on how to transport my items to the taxi stand, Candy kindly went the extra mile and offered to help to carry my items to the stand. Very thankful for her help.

Was such an insult when the Chinese staff told me off while I waited long for atome payment. When my side had approved.oh we hardly use atome. She said. Instead of apologies for kept customer waiting. This is really bad .

Sorry. This is a lil long. 1. Went to Akemiuchi at Plaza Singapura today to look for duvet. It wasn't crowded at all but NO ONE is attending to any of the customers including me. 2. A young female sitting at the payment counter when no one is making payment. 3. She walked away after giving brief description of the duvet. I decided to buy a microfibre duvet cost $169 but no one assisted me in carrying the box. 4. A male salesperson assisted me in the payment process. He asked me if I'm a member and I said yes. And I asked what are the benefits of being a member. He told me that every purchase can accumulate points and every 20 points can offset a dollar from the purchase, and informed that the points only can keep for 1 year. So I asked him to check when are my points expiring, he checked and replied me the expiring points worth $24 is due TOMORROW! I asked if he could void and process a new transaction to offset all the points. He told me CANNOT. He tried pressing on the credit card machine and again replied me CANNOT. It is common sense that transaction confirm can be voided, if I'm under-charged, I'm sure they will be able to void. I told him to ask the lady who is busying arranging the items on rack, he went and in 10 seconds came back and told me CANNOT. Firstly, he did not check if I have any expiring points and processed the payment directly. Secondly, he assumed I want to keep it till my birthday month in order to claim double. Even NTUC or SPC auntie will ask if we want to keep or redeem. Thirdly, he did not even try helping to void or even contact the next level to see how to void the transaction. Happily just replied me CANNOT. Even when I gave up talking to the 2 x non service oriented salesperson, I told him I will feedback. He gracefully accepted and told me OK. I wrote in to Akemiuchi website already but have yet to receive their reply. And yup, my $24 will be gone tomorrow. All thanks to Mr CANNOT.

My wife and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Karyn (Chinese lady with glasses; not sure if it’s the right spelling), and I couldn’t be more impressed with her exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, Karyn’s warm and attentive demeanor made us feel right at home. She took the time to listen carefully to our needs and provided thoughtful, tailored recommendations for bed linens that perfectly matched our preferences and needs. Her patience was especially appreciated as we took a very long time to decide. She never rushed us yet offering insightful advices and sharing her knowledge on the different products and collection. It’s clear that Karyn is not only knowledgeable but truly dedicated to helping customers find the best options for their homes. We left feeling satisfied in our purchase, and it’s all thanks to her service.

the sheets are decent with discounts but the black hair female staff better watch her attitude because she kept snapping at me when I'm filling out a membership form

Bait-and-switch operation, zero service recovery Misleading sales signs with tiny font placed on top of products not covered by the promotion. When queried, cashier pretty much shrugged her shoulders and pointed to the sign. Made no attempt to ask if refund was desired. (Actually, I was referred to the sign AGAIN.) A genuine CBF performance in the wild.
