One of many outlets belonging to a Japanese mega chain. Items are priced at just $2 and the range they stock is amazing. You can get stationary, kitchenware, plastic containers, food, toys, craft materials, diy tools, gardening tools, bicycle accessories, fake plants, shoe racks, cosmetics, just to name a few. It possible that if you are in need of something that is normally affordable to begin with, it’s probably within this odd, eclectic store. Do note that items do run out, and staff members won’t be able to accurately tell you when it will be replaced. Overall, I do enjoy the affordability and managed to get quite a number of household items.

Always good to wander around a Daiso shop and purchase items you never knew you needed at great prices.

Japan corner in Singapore👌 A Japanese store with only Japanese products. Anything from toothpicks and disposable utensils, to children's toys, gardening and automotive products. Home storage systems and traditional Japanese dinnerware, textiles and linens, food, toys! All made in Japan. Personally, I was looking for disposable picnic tableware and canapé skewers, I found everything. Very nice store, I recommend it.

Daiso in Plaza Singapura is the one I visit most often. They sell almost everything you need—and don’t need. Some items are good, while others are not, but the friendly and helpful aunties at the cashier always make the shopping experience pleasant. Not a bad place to pick up some travel essentials or household items at an affordable price when you're in Singapore.

Huge variety of things from food, drinks, toys, homeware, kitchen, decor, craft, at reasonable prices. Threeppy is slightly more expensive, about double the price of Japanese yen, but still a good variety.

I’m writing about a poor customer service by this male staff. Yesterday, I brought my son to Daiso Plaza Singapura. While I was shopping, my son saw the balls at one section. He liked the ball at Daiso and he played with it as he liked it very much. There was no sign that the customer can’t try, and there was a male staff who stopped my child and scolded him for playing the ball. To me, this is very impolite. I understand that by playing the ball, can be very disruptive. To be professional, I think that he could have politely ask my son to stop playing with the ball. Next, when I was finally done with my shopping and wanted to self check out, I scanned the items but the screen hung. Hence, I needed the assistance of a staff to help clear the screen. Just then, the same male staff was available and he came to help with a grumpy face, showing unhappiness and unwillingness. I’m very disappointed with the service of the staff and I don’t recommend shopping at this outlet, especially if you have kids.

The service altitude of the staff is not good. Wondering whether they train the staff enough. One staff member over-scanned the number of items that I bought after I redeemed my capital mall voucher and it took me about 15-20 minutes to get back my money. The shop wasn't very full during my purchase, so I seriously think their processing is super slow. Will try to avoid this outlet in future.
