Seorae Jib is known for being the first in Singapore to smoke meats using Onggi pots, with a hay and oakwood method that enhances the natural taste of the meat. • We got to witness this right before our meal, and the smoky aroma really came through when we tucked in. • We went with the Pork & Beef Set: - Smoked Black Pork Samgyeobsal (hay and oakwood smoked in Onggi) - Woosamgyeob (beef short plate) - Cheesy Gyeran Jjim (soft steamed egg with cheese) - Jib Platter (assorted sides) • From Chef Yoon’s exclusive menu, we tried: - Misoyaki Galmaegisal – US pork skirt aged in red miso & Korean sake - Nuruk So Anchangsal – Angus skirt marinated with Nuruk, a Makgeolli starter - Buchaesal Sotbap – Angus oyster blade over rice with shiitake - Makgeolli Sorbet – Korean rice wine and lemon zest • Both the Galmaegisal and Anchangsal were full of flavour—distinctly different from your usual Korean BBQ profile. • The refreshing Subak Cocktail—made with watermelon and soju—was the perfect complement to the meal. •
Pleasantly surprised to see the whole place packed from 6pm till last order.

Seorae Jib brings a unique twist to K-BBQ in Singapore by using hay and oakwood smoking in traditional onggi pots—an interesting concept that adds a distinctive depth of smokiness to their meats. Though it makes for a rich, flavorful bite, it does raise the question—where exactly do they source the hay from? 🔥 Signature BBQ & Exclusive Dishes Their standout Galmaegisal (pork skirt) is known for its wagyu-like texture, and it certainly delivers on tenderness. We ordered the Black Pork Samgyeobsal and the Signature Pork & Beef Set, also available is the an all-pork option available for those who don’t eat beef. For those looking for a more traditional meal, the Hanjeongsik Lunch Set offers a fun way to share a Korean feast, with nine banchan, a choice of mains, and stews. Available on weekdays until 4 PM. Dishes We Tried were: 🔥 Smoked Meats – The signature smoky depth is definitely noticeable and adds a rich umami flavor. However, it may not be for everyone, as the smokiness is quite pronounced. 🌯 The JIB Platter – A fun and interactive BBQ experience with wraps like seaweed, tortilla, and lettuce. The variety is great, so if you find certain combinations more for you you can customise your own. 🍚 Sotbap Series – Hearty Korean rice dishes that are flavorful on their own. A highlight is being able to pour soup or barley tea over the burnt base at the end, creating a completely new dish—worth trying! There is a side dish counter with yummy kimchi, pickled radish, macaroni salad and vegetables for wrapping your meats. Overall, Seorae Jib delivers authentic Korean flavors with creative modern elements. The service was fast & friendly, making for an enjoyable dining experience. If you love BBQ with a smoky edge, this is definitely worth checking out! So good!

Good quality casual KBBQ in Singapore! I recommend the Beef and Pork Set and the Bacon Potato Pancakes which were so so delicious! The Jib Platter is a great choice for a variety of banchan side dishes which you can mix and match with the meats for the best dining experience!

The food is great, and the service is good! We chose the beef and pork set, and it was definitely worth it. We left feeling very full and especially loved the steamed egg with cheese. The meat was tender and flavorful. Definitely coming back!

One of the best Sundubu’s tasted in SG! We got the Pork King Set - all cuts had their own stellar qualities. Loved the steamed egg with cheesy pulls. Much thanks to Raj for the prompt and friendly service. He was so kind :) Special kudos to Tim who BBQ’d for us - he explained each cut of pork perfectly, and how to pair them with/without sauces. It just made the meal even more delicious and fun with his jovial personality! Looking forward to our next visit to try the Cold Noodles :)

As a frequent diner at Seorae, this is one of the worst experience to date. The auntie was guarding the banchan preventing us from taking any at all. This was done apparently without any reason or so. We only wanted to top up a small amount of kimchi but was told that we are not allowed to. I was happy to pay for it if there are charges but was not given the option. I am a frequent diner here and have never faced such an issue on my other visits. The auntie at the banchan station had successfully ruined the pleasant experience provided by the chef assisting us with the cooking. Will think twice before coming next time.

First time dining at Seorae and it definitely won’t be the last! Hands down the best Korean BBQ in town. We were served by Krystal, who was incredibly friendly and polite—one of the best staff we’ve encountered. She took the time to explain the dishes, which helped us appreciate Korean cuisine even more. 10/10, highly recommended and will definitely be back!
