CS Fresh Plaza Singapura

Staff informed me that they are ‘unable to operate the bread slicing machine after 6pm’. What ridiculous and stupid policy is that?

Update 7/26/2023 - keep your receipt! Once again over charge. I don’t understand why cashier can’t charge correctly when job is on the simple side?? I bought reduced prices with big red tag and she didn’t key in reduce prices! Only found out after I checked the receipt!! Who is going to pay my overtime to keep going back to get it corrected again and again! They should be ashamed to ask me for Yuu points back. Also getting price tags up is still an issue. Wanted mangosteen but no price and no staff to answer. Why not install a self check pricing in the area given you can’t get it together? The manager at the cashier said it’s not her problem to fix as her responsibility is cashier and not putting price tag. There needs to be a competition here for CS dhoby ghaut! So expensive yet pain to buy groceries here. Need to keep returning rotten fruit, cashier wrong key in and need to go back to ask refund and no one here to give feedback to get it fixed! Update 2/15/2023 - quality continue to be an issue. Almost bought a mushroom and have mold. If you have no option but to buy from this branch inspect thoroughly. I have gone through their return process and it’s painful. You waste your time coming back and they want to claim back even the yuu points you got. No compensation for the mistake of spoiled item they sell over and over again - tiresome. In addition, the price tags are constantly wrong. After I go to self check out often need to get price because it was not registered or when buy the price is not tagged at the shelf such as the mushroom. Make sure to keep your receipt for everything here for returns. Update 12/12/2022 - I got back home from CS and opened the panettone I just purchased an hour ago with valid date till 6/2023 and it’s rotten!! Check out my pictures! What if I hadn’t kept my receipt? Make sure you keep them till you get home and get to open item! This is not the first time I buy items at CS plaza Sing that I find out are rotten. I bought pricey US peaches that are half rotten. Another time I bought “reduced to clear” fruit that was rotten. I would expect “reduce to clear” item need to be at least edible the same day!! —————— No tapioca flour found here. Only this organic substitute that didn’t even work for my recipe at the end! At fairprice finest (which is suppose to be expensive branch of fairprice) lychee is sold at $4,55 while at this cold storage it was sold at $8 and now don’t even have stock. There is a lack of supermarket in this region/mall. Albeit you would think the fair price at sommerset or Killiney are close, but it is not, because Dobhy ghaut is not pedestrian friendly and with the high traffic, large highways, large roads makes walking to the next market too far and cumbersome. With this cold storage branch now being renovated to CS cold storage, I can’t imagine how the prices will skyrocket even more!

Cold Storage offers a lot of items but is pricier than most convenience shops. But one unique feature of Cold Storage is a "Deli offering" for people on-the-go. I gave this store 3-stars due to the service of the employees. They may be efficient, but it would be good to smile once in a while

Bought this Bob's Red Mill Oats at Cold Storage Plaza Singapura. Opened it at home and found it moldy, even though the expiry date is still many weeks away. Hope management can put in stricter controls as this is really gross and unacceptable.

Huge spacious supermarket at the basement of plaza Singapura. Service of staff was better. Waited for staff to finish washing the rack before turning to assist me. I tried to call out to her but no avail. Luckily, another staff saw me waiting and called out to her. Cashier wasn’t in the best mood, but at least she tried to help me pack the stuff into my grocery bag.

The lady who was mending the self-check out in the evening of 28 Feb was very rude. We understand that the supermarket was closing and they were rushing customers to check out, but we were already at the self-check out trying to scan the Yuu membership and the lady told us "DON'T WASTE TIME" and to use the hand held scanner. Her tone and attitude is very uncalled for as we were already in the process of checking out. Couldn't she have phrased it nicely?!? I hear her also shouting out to other customers looking at the shelves otw to the cashier that they are already closed. Is this Cold Storage standard of customer service? Even if they are rushing to close up and head home, is it Cold Storage SOP to shout at customers and to use phrases like "DON'T WASTE TIME"?! What a horrible experience for such a premium priced supermarket.

Really huge supermarket and such but I would definitely not recommend you to get the pasta there at the pasta section near to the cheese area it was absolutely horrendous for a 300grams penne pesto with salmon for 9.90 you get a really watery and bland pasta with smoked salmon and a little bit of Parmesan cheese on the top really horrible. Though staff were nice but the quality is absolutely not acceptable.
