Not recommended. If you have children, avoid this restaurant, difficult for children to eat, too much bone fragments in all the duck dishes. Some dish too salty. Duck dumpling got bone, not safe. Cashier has poor attitude. Not good. Very bad. GrabPay Dine Out offer is good to use. 15% off. :)

Overall taste salty for personal .As we order two duck one salted duck and roasted duck but the taste is one salty and the other one sweet for overall and it got feather bone . Which the same as the duck steak dumpling also sweet and one of it got duck bone in the dumpling and was it normal ?

I generally shun restaurants that serve China cuisine as I find their dishes too strong in flavour (too salty and oily). Upon the recommendation of a good friend, I decided to try the food here and was pleasantly surprised. Dishes were tasty, balanced in seasoning and not overpoweringly salty or oily. Even the gong pao chicken dish tasted like the sichuan gong pao chicken that was reminiscent of the authentic Sichuan gong pao I had as a kid. The cold dish had a nice flavour too and didn't have a bitter herb taste like what I've tasted in other China cuisine restaurants.
Service was brisk and efficient, the servers were quick and attentive to our needs. Heard from my friend that there are performances during dinnertime on weekends (Suzhou Pingtan). Will be back! 😋👍🏻

During my first inaugural visit, I noticed the restaurant's ambiance bore a striking resemblance to Dian Xiao Er. The menu featured an enticing selection of duck dishes I opted for both the roast duck and salted duck alongside standout items like the chilli drunken virgin red crayfish (Xiao Long Xia), kampong chicken with crispy sesame in an iron pot, and baked yellow croaker with fresh ginger.
The yellow croaker was a highlight exceptionally fresh and flavorful while the red crayfish delivered a satisfying spice. Service proved attentive; staff promptly replaced plates cluttered with bones or shells, enhancing the dining experience.

This is a nice place for a family dinner. It mainly specializes in Nanjing cuisines. The food’s pretty good for a family restaurant. I would recommend the Jinling Roast Duck, Palace Chicken with Pickled Chilli, Poached “Lion Head” meatball, Handmade diced Lotus Root and pork patties and the special shredded Duck fried noodles. Didn’t manage to take photo as we were quite hungry. Try it yourselves.

First time visiting this place but certainly not the last. We were rather impressed with the food. Though the service was not too bad either.
The drunken crayfish is a must order. The sauce was so good and goes very well with the crayfish. I also really liked the Nanjing signature salted duck but some said their roast duck was better. The Nanjing chilled vegetarian delight was only average but their jellyfish dish was very yummy, also due to the sauce they used.
My favourite of the night was the poached lion head meatball. This was so surprisingly delicious. The meat was tender and such a unique dish. Would definitely be keen to come back and try the dishes.

Had an impromptu dinner at Nanjing Impressions. The selection of dishes was a bit limited, but we really enjoyed the chicken and mushroom soup — it was comforting and flavorful. The chicken dish, however, was a bit too sweet for my taste.
One highlight was the interior — the décor and chinaware really made us feel like we were dining in China. Overall, it was an alright dining experience with a nice ambiance.

Meiling Congee is a dish that originated in the Republic of China era. It is said that Soong Meiling lost her appetite for regular meals, so the head chef at her residence prepared a pot of congee using fragrant rice and soy milk, among other ingredients. Soong Meiling enjoyed it immensely, and later it became one of her favorite dishes. Over time, it spread to the general public and became known as 'Meiling Congee'. This congee is light, simple, nutritious, and has a delicate and sweet fragrance.
