Quite overpriced for food that tasted heated up in the microwave, and quite cramped, but it’s part of the interior design, so pass.
And the queue… insanely long for mediocre food. If I were you, I would just skip it……….. man it was not worth the 36 dollars

Had a lovely meal at Co Chung Vietnamese Restaurant in Plaza Singapura. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming, authentic Vietnamese ambiance.
We ordered the Vietnamese coffee, banh mi, and pho. The coffee was strong, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweet, exactly how traditional Vietnamese drip coffee should be. It was a great pick-me-up to start the meal.
The banh mi was delicious, with a crunchy baguette exterior and a savory, well-seasoned filling inside. Fresh herbs and pickled vegetables gave it a refreshing balance, and the flavors were spot on.
The highlight, though, was the pho. The broth was incredibly aromatic and rich, with layers of beefy depth. The noodles had the right bite, and the generous portion of herbs and condiments on the side allowed us to customise to our liking.
Overall, it was a comforting and flavorful experience that truly reminded me of the street food in Vietnam. Will definitely return to try other dishes like the rice vermicelli and spring rolls. Highly recommend if you’re craving a satisfying Vietnamese meal in town!

Is food tasty? Yes. Cheap? On the cheaper side yes. Service? Poor. Worth the queue? Probably not.
Also, layout of the shop is so bad. The whole bar counter and banh mi station are so poorly designed and space could have been better planned.

Recently they have increased the price but I’m actually happy for them, as I realize it comes with upgraded service as well: nicer decoration for a more premium atmosphere, larger portion, and the new service crew is very friendly and attentive; big prop to the lady serving us food. I think this is probably the only restaurant in Singapore that does justice to Vietnamese cuisine: the food is consistently good and authentic, whether it’s Southern, Northern or Central Vietnamese food. It is still a bit of a wait to get the food; I think the small kitchen size might still be their bottleneck here. But I can assure you the wait is well worth it.
If I could have a small suggestion: the bowl used to serve stewed beef is a bit deep while the soup spoon is designed for a shallower bowl. I frequently find my hand at an awkward position trying to dig the spoon into the bowl. The deep bowl also makes it harder to dip bread into the soup. Probably a shallow bowl works better.

This Viet cafe has been under my radar for a while. Finally got a chance to have my lunch here. Still gotta wait for about 30 mins even though I was there after 1pm. I ordered the pho beef noodle soup and it comes with the raw beef on top of the cooked pho. You then have to pour the hot soup over the raw beef so that your beef is not overcooked by the time you eat it. Soup was especially umami. I also ordered the fresh spring rolls and it was so good too. This is one of the rare few Viet places that I think the pho is good. Highly recommend if you're looking for good tasting authentic Viet food.

Ordered the vietnamese pork sausage banh mi and the vietnamese "chee kweh" which was absolutely delish la.
The banh mi was light, crispy on the outside and chock full of flavours on the inside with the mint, Chilli, picked carrots, etc served separately so one can DIY the level of your preferred intensity.
The Banh Beo "chwee kueh" was also v good - basically little savoury rice pancakes with a smattering of dried fried shrimp on the top with a super crispy pork rind ...makes you wanna go to Vietnam ! Yumz...thank you. Will be back!

When I first had this, I was blown away. It was super delicious. The dish I had had this sauce that was sweet and savoury, pairing super well with the vermicelli noodles and chicken. I like that there’s a good portion of vegetables too! Friends had vegetarian pho and beef stew which they also enjoyed a lot. Only downsides would be during peak periods there might not be a lot of seating and the service workers seem a bit busy with the number of orders.

Serves great Viet food with affordable prices. Space a little small but still good enough to enjoy the nice authentic dishes. Good to try out. But may have to keep in line for a short while to get in.

Had a nice dinner date with my daughter — she was craving pho, so we came here. We wanted to try the “pour your pho” but ended up getting the regular chicken pho instead. Still, it was really good! The broth had a rich, slightly smoky aroma and was full of flavour.
We also tried the spring rolls — fresh, light, and tasty. Great spot for a comforting meal. We’ll definitely come back again!

Pleasantly surprised there was no queue at 3pm on a Sunday, so I can finally try this place!
Interior was nice and cozy, the tables were repurposed from sewing machines. Very rustic vibes.
Had the pho beef noodle soup (D02) and the beef was tender. Broth was rich and flavourful. Love the combination of the texture from the silky noodles and crunchy veg. Each bowl was $14.90, slightly on the pricey side given the location to be at Dhoby Ghaut.
Sadly, didn’t quite enjoy the fresh spring rolls (B01) Personally didn’t enjoy the accompanied sauce that came with it and the texture of the shrimp was soft instead of firm and crunchy. Would also wish there’s more shrimp too for $7.90.
Service was good and food was served within 20 mins. Total bill was $45.20 for 2 pax. Will return again to try other food here and if there’s no queue.

I had the pleasure of enjoying an absolutely amazing meal, and I can’t stop raving about it! The beef stew was nothing short of perfection—rich, hearty, and bursting with deep, comforting flavors. Every bite was tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors melded beautifully, creating a dish that felt both homely and indulgent.
And then there was the coconut coffee—a true game-changer! The smooth, creamy coconut paired beautifully with the bold coffee, creating a drink that was both exotic and deeply satisfying. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and richness, leaving me craving another sip long after my cup was empty.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Everything was presented so beautifully, adding an extra touch of elegance to the experience.
I’m definitely coming back, and this time, I’m bringing more family and friends to enjoy this fantastic spot! Highly recommend!

I came here on a weekday at 12.30pm.
I ordered a grilled pork banh mi and an iced milk coffee, to go. The small restaurant was full and there was a line of about 5 people waiting.
Since my order was to-go, I went to place it at the counter. The staff informed me that it would be a 15 minute wait.
After 10 minutes I got my sandwich and drink.
The sandwich was great. Soft, flaky baguette filled to the brim with grilled pork and vegetables. It was a touch spicy which was a very nice counter to the meat. The pork was not entirely lean and some bits were a bit too fatty for my liking. I also wish the bigger pieces were cut smaller because the bread is already a mouthful to get around. Having said that, I’d definitely still get the same sandwich, I just wouldn’t recommend eating it in front of anyone else because be warned, it can get messy.
The coffee: I am not a habitual coffee drinker so the strong coffee was like rocket fuel to me. It’s a nice accompaniment with my sandwich. A bit pricey at $7.90 though.

The restaurant is located on B2 floor towards the left of the escalators. It’s quite a narrow restaurant but it has a slight right turn all the way towards the back which has 2 tables which you can’t exactly see from the front.
The menu is quite extensive which different noodle options, pho, bun cha, vermicelli soups, fried / fresh spring rolls, banh mi, meat skewers, coffee, sodas, and such. I’d say prices are decent for the portion size, service, and area.
When I visited there was just 1 lady working in the front and it was dinnertime so she was very busy bouncing around to each customer yet she was quite quick with our orders and delivering them quickly. Food was delicious and I’d definitely come back here again when in the are.

Dropped by for a light brunch and tried their traditional bánh mì with a black coffee. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft inside, with juicy and flavorful fillings. The pickled carrot and radish added a great crunch and tang. The coffee was strong, aromatic, and hit the spot!
