They overcharged GST for a 3 for 1 free promotion. This is a scam and is outright illegal, just want you all to know that.
Edit: at least they have corrected their mistake. But they really need to fix their POS calculation before Suki-ya the company runs a foul with the law.

A place with health issue; seeing bugs and house flies all over the place and when ask staff about it , a rude staff called DIAN shouted at me telling bugs are very normal I shall eat it and if I keep a foot close enough to me, there won’t be any bug; I told him in Singapore bugs are allowed in the restaurant? And then they want me to delete our pictures to protect their reputation and threatened me even we are having bad diarrhoea afterwards

service was not good,, make us feel so uncomfortable. One of server keep touching my hands and hit the table to get attention to her. Additionally it was too expensive. Beef was so smelly. I dont how they even maintenance fridge.

After dinner me n my bf both started to feel stomachaches so badly,, until night suffering if I can give no star, I will do that. Please just go n find other restaurants to eat shabushabu

I don’t feel like I’m eating in a restaurant…
The food was ok, we ordered weekday lunch. There was no different menu so they directed us on the table using the usual paper menu, and telling us all the restrictions. So i asked if i can still take the sauce, the new staff said can then the senior staff scold me. Then she apologised cus miscom and i said it was ok. Then i asked if we get rice also, or if we can take water. They said i already picked noodles, where i said idk if i can only chose one (the poster pic has both). Then she said water and drinks 2$ so i said ok lah no need i got water.
I DONT UNDERSTAND why whenever they explain stuff i they keep being confrontational. So i said maybe if there is a different paper for the menu to guide it will be easier and she just basically said NO (????!?!)
Then these three Filo ladies keep scolding other customers ON EVERY TABLE
I swear this is the restaurant with the worst service in Plaza Sing. This will be my last time going to suki-ya, NO MORE

I would like to commend the manager, Aileen, Evelyn and Ore for the great service and going the extra mile for clients. They were all kind and courteous!
Special mention to Aileen, as a manager she was definitely a role model to the team, sitting the clients, asking us if we require more soup and meat even helping her crew to clear the used trays. She also shared with us on the difference in quality of meat and allowed us to make easier decision to go for the premium. I had a fantastic dining experience at Sukiya Plaza Singapura! The food was fresh, delicious, and served promptly — the beef was incredibly tender and flavourful, and the variety of soup bases made the hotpot experience really enjoyable. The self-service stations were well-stocked and clean, offering a great selection of sauces and drinks.
What truly made the meal special was the outstanding service. The staff, especially Evelyn and Stella, were warm, attentive, and professional throughout. They made sure our table was always cleared and that we had everything we needed. Their friendly attitude really made us feel welcome and taken care of.
Highly recommend this outlet if you’re craving quality Japanese hotpot with excellent service!

My last visit is 1 year ago at Bugis. Now there are many varieties of food. For beef lover like me, the beef short plate is thicker enough to Shabu to medium well. The downside is the light indoor too dark. Customers like me though it is close when we arrive at 4pm++. Overall tasty!

I dined at Suki-Ya at Plaza Singapura for the first time and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, very filling, and there was a wide variety of meats, vegetables, and soup bases to choose from. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.
What really stood out was the excellent service. The three lady waitresses were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive—even during the busy lunch rush. They patiently answered all my questions and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal.
It was a great first visit, and I’ll definitely be back for the good food and fantastic service!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Suki-Ya! From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our server was quick to refill our broth, clear empty plates, and even offered great recommendations on what to try.
The hotpot ingredients were fresh, and the variety was impressive—especially the selection at the salad and dipping sauce bar. Everything was clean, well-organized, and clearly prepared with care.
It’s rare to find service this genuinely good. We felt welcomed, relaxed, and totally taken care of. Definitely coming back soon!

Came here and got the premium meat option with Suki yaki soup and the Soy Miso Soup.
Amazing food variety, and honestly, I would say the premium meats are worth the extra. The iberico pork and pork collars are so gooood, with them having very little fat pairing so well with the soup.
I would definitely recommend the sou miss soup, it's savoury with a tinge of sweetness which really elevates it to the next level

Cook the Meaty Boys by swishing them in the soup! Swish Beefy for at least 10s, Swish Porky for at least 20s, Swish Chicky for at least 20s.
